We now have a large number of tasty Sungold tomatoes and crisp cucumbers in our polytunnel. Come pick your own. Tomatoes are £2 for 200g. Cucumbers £1 each.
We now have loads of wonderful strawberries in our field. Come pick your own, £1.50 for 250g. Alternatively, please subscribe to our pick-to-order scheme if you want to collect strawberries on a Wednesday (£2 for 250g). If the netting is on when you arrive, just roll back a corner and re-cover it when you’re done. Sadly the birds love the strawberries just as much as we do!
We’ve had a successful start to the season, with the warm weather putting us ahead of schedule. Come join us this Sunday for our monthly volunteer morning (May 7th, 11am till 1pm). Enjoy a chance to get your hands dirty and meet some like-minded folk (and our piglets too!).
The recent hot weather means that our polytunnels are positively bursting with wonderful fresh produce. We have plenty of spinach, chard, giant cucumbers, as well as an abundance of tasty tomatoes.
